Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By connecting any social-media account (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) to twitch-clips-postiz ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not connect your account.
2. What the Service does
The Service automates a single workflow: it (a) downloads recordings of livestreams that you have published on Twitch under accounts you own; (b) extracts short highlight moments using audio loudness analysis, speech transcription (Whisper) and AI-based engagement scoring (DeepSeek); (c) renders each highlight as a 1080×1920 vertical short-form video with karaoke subtitles burned in; (d) publishes the resulting clip to social-media accounts that you have connected via OAuth.
3. Eligibility & first-party content rule
You may use the Service only to clip and republish content that you yourself created and own the rights to. Specifically:
- The Twitch source channel must be owned by you or by an account you have written authorisation to operate.
- The destination social-media accounts must be owned by you.
- You may not use the Service to clip third-party streams, copyrighted broadcasts, or content you do not have rights to redistribute.
You retain full ownership of all content. We claim no rights to your videos.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to publish:
- Content that violates the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service of any destination platform (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram).
- Spam, misleading content, deepfakes, or content impersonating others.
- Sexually explicit, violent, hateful, harassing, or illegal content.
- Content that infringes any intellectual-property rights.
You are solely responsible for the content the Service publishes on your behalf. The operator does not pre-moderate clips.
5. API quotas & rate limits
The Service operates within the API quotas granted by each destination platform. Quotas are per-app and are shared across all users connected to this instance. We may throttle or temporarily skip publication if a platform's quota is approaching its daily limit. We do not guarantee any minimum number of publications per day.
6. Service availability & warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The operator is an individual and provides no SLA. The Service may be interrupted, modified, or terminated at any time without notice. The operator is not liable for missed clips, lost views, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Service.
7. Account termination
You may disconnect at any time via your destination platform's "Manage app permissions" page (e.g. tiktok.com → connected apps). The operator may also revoke your access if your usage violates these Terms or strains shared resources.
8. Privacy
Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, when feasible, communicated via email to active users.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland (the Service is operated and hosted from Helsinki) without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland, unless mandatory consumer-protection law of the user's jurisdiction provides otherwise.
